“潮湿寒冷的地下室”
The price‑to‑value ratio was low, it was expensive. It’s suitable for many friends, classmates, family traveling together, so the per‑person cost is low, at most it feels like it can host 10 people. There is a refrigerator and microwave. The location is indeed excellent. The basement is damp, has a smell, and it’s very cold! The bed had a lot of dust, dirt, and hair. Not recommended!
“Très agréable.”
Very good welcome. The follow‑up until entering the room was professional. The possibility to cook with the shared kitchenette.
“Desafortunadamente una pesima experiencia”
Breakfast isn’t included, the rooms aren’t sound‑proof, so if other guests aren’t careful the noise is very annoying. The location isn’t bad at all, it has access to metro line 1 in Madrid and two bus routes that can be useful when leaving to explore the city. It’s very close to Plaza Mayor, the Benavente stop, and about 10 minutes from Puerta del Sol. The location is the only thing that favors it. Cleanliness in the common areas is basically nonexistent. What you leave in the communal fridge is at your own risk; I had a terrible time finding my groceries had been consumed by someone else. After much insistence they replaced part of what was consumed, but they did it under pressure and protest, because they don’t take responsibility for what you put there. The room didn’t have sheets, only the duvet cover and blanket. The towels were clean and rough; you can use vinegar if the fabric softener is too expensive. There is a washer and dryer, but with the dirty state of the place it’s risky to use those machines. I thought the price could be a good option, but it definitely wasn’t in May 2025.
