The staff were very caring; they went out of their way to retrieve our luggage after it was taken by departing guests, which dampened our first day but ultimately saved our trip. We chose Curry Mansion over other options because of the heated pool, which our teenage boys love; we received an email a few days before arrival that the pool was down for scheduled maintenance, and if we’d known at booking we would have picked another hotel.

The place has a lot of charm, sits right in the middle of everything yet stays quiet. The back building feels a bit dated, the pool is tiny and not well kept.

We didn’t have breakfast on site, but food is sold there. The room’s K‑urig coffee maker was great. The spot is excellent, just a few steps from Cuval St. and not far from Mallory Square. The laminate floor in our room hadn’t been cleaned in a while; our black socks slipped on it. The outside flooring has obvious trip hazards. The paint and general upkeep need work.

The location is convenient. The property looks worn out, there's mold in the shower, the second‑floor railing feels unsafe, and some items were missing. In March, spring breakers in the pool screamed and fought until 4 am. Overall it looks run down and needs a lot of maintenance and updates.
