The homely service let me unwind completely, and the hotel team was friendly and helpful throughout. They also suggested and booked various tours, which was a big help. I really enjoyed the simple Nepali home‑cooked meals served at the hotel. The bathroom was clean, but at certain times the hot water struggled to flow.

We experienced by far the best service on our long Asian trip here. The genuinely warm and attentive hosts read our wishes from the eye and left nothing unmet. They organized tours, a cultural evening, and even onward bus travel for us at great prices. We were shown the beautiful garden with its native plants and learned a lot. The view of the river was gorgeous, and at sunset we could even spot crocodiles and deer. The area blends local life, small shops, and nature, yet tourist spots and the city center are still within a good walking distance. We felt very welcome with our two small children. We ended up staying much longer than planned because we felt so comfortable. If we return to Sauraha, we’ll stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it.

The staff were friendly, the food good, the natural view and quiet were great, and the service for Chitwan was very good. Thank you so much for the beautiful time.

From the third‑floor balcony we could see the river, and when we arrived at the end of March the place was unusually quiet after the group tourists had left. The owner was extremely kind, breakfast was decent, and the garden’s tall trees gave the feeling of being in a forest. We ate breakfast on the balcony, sipped tea during the day, and even had a beer in the evening. A leisurely riverside walk led us past a small tea shop, and about a 30‑minute walk downstream we found a restaurant serving excellent pizza, which I highly recommend. The sunset could be watched quietly in the evening, making it a perfect spot for a few days’ rest. The shower water wasn’t scalding but comfortably warm. Considering the price, the value was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; I’d give it a perfect 100 out of 100. The only downside was that, on the third floor, the balcony could have used a few more chairs for relaxing.
