“Genial”
The hotel is very pretty and well‑located. There was no heating, but they supplied an oil radiator and the issue was fixed.

The hotel is well‑maintained, the staff are truly kind and welcoming. The location is convenient, parking is comfortable too (CHF 35 per day). The place has a personality, which is hard to find in cities, compliments!

The staff were friendly. Nothing to dislike.

The décor and full color choice, umbrellas in the lobby, and we received a quiet room in the upper area at request. Breakfast bread was excellent, selection of savory & sweet foods was good, the Kipling smoothie was tasty. We ordered 2 single beds, but it turned out to be a double bed that had to be pulled apart. For taller people it was far too narrow. No body lotion was available. The scrambled eggs were never warm, sometimes had an unpleasant taste, the bacon was over‑cooked like in the USA. The Bircher Müsli tasted good the first few days as it should, but on 2 or 3 days it was more like neutral porridge than Bircher Müsli.

The hotel was clean and easy to get to from the train station. Location was a bit noisy at times
