The property sits directly beside the road, a huge family house where the owners also live. There’s a large common living area on the ground floor, breakfast is included at a good price‑value ratio, the view is gorgeous, very quiet, and the house feels authentic. We arrived by motorcycle – a Turán motorbike – and unfortunately couldn’t park in the garage because there’s no covered parking, so we had to unload the bike and carry everything up the stairs; there’s no elevator, just a narrow wooden staircase. The rooms were very comfortable for two people, and we even found extra blankets that were useful on the cold night. The bathroom is a major flaw: it’s been unrenovated for a long time, plaster is falling, there are leaks, and there’s only a bathtub without a shower curtain, so the whole bathroom flooded when we finished showering. After bathing, we had to clean for another 15 minutes; the toilet is at the end of the tub, so if someone needs to use the toilet, others can’t bathe, wash, or brush their teeth – a big problem when five people are waiting for you to finish. Breakfast didn’t arrive for us, which was a big disappointment compared to the usual high quality and quantity. We’re used to it, but there was nothing else at the hotel, which is understandable. We went at the end of the season, so we couldn’t try the large pool, which is probably better in summer and better maintained. The owner says it’s a covered pool with heated water, so theoretically it can be used all year. I can’t upload a photo because the booking platform deletes it immediately.
