The location, service, and breakfast were good, but the mattresses need some improvement.

The staff were great and welcoming, and the breakfast was amazing.

The chalets are spacious, each with two rooms and a bathroom. My chalet’s bed was comfortable, and it had a fridge and sink, which were very handy. The TV, though old, works well, and the Wi‑Fi is perfect. I found the pillows stiff, and the shower heats nicely but the water jets need adjustment because they point at the wall.

The breakfast was simple but good, and the lunch was very tasty, though the price was above average. The showers in both chalets ran out of water every time the flush was used and then took a long time to refill; I woke up exhausted because the mattress was awful (never slept on something worse—an old mattress at least 30 years old) and the pillow was hard. Cleaning was lacking: the chalet was full of moths and spider webs; the bathroom had a broken glassware and a dirty plastic curtain; the living room window didn’t lock from the inside, so it could open from the outside; the old fridge didn’t cool; there was no shampoo for the shower and the towel felt like sandpaper. Moreover, the fire extinguisher’s charge was expired in 2018, and it’s unclear when pest control was last done. All of this is far from what the rating suggests (I feel especially deceived) and does not match the price. The basic maintenance is clearly failing and the place is slowly deteriorating. It’s a shame because the setting is beautiful, with lots of greenery, a river running through the property, and a small waterfall that few places have, but the lack of professionalism in management devalues the environment and pushes guests away. I don’t plan to return.
