I wanted a quiet, nature‑filled escape outside the city, and this spot delivered. I spent most of my time on the balcony, lounging in the hammock, and enjoyed the free kayaks for river trips. The food was tasty, and the owner, Sopha, was friendly and accommodating.

It was a great stay, though using the bathroom at night felt a bit scary; overall 10/10. Wi‑Fi and local service were a bit weak.

The location is nice and quiet, but a bit far from Kampot—about an hour’s walk to the town. A Tuktuk to town costs roughly $2 (book via Grab or Passapp). Because the resort is further out, it’s peaceful, ideal for relaxing or working. The only real drawback is the Wi‑Fi, which needs to be faster and more reliable; I had trouble booking on Grab and even sending emails at times, and the connection is spotty across the resort. Be aware of these connectivity issues if you need to stay online.
