“Très agréable bien situé pour visiter les châteaux cathares”
The place is gorgeous, the staff and owners are very kind, and finding an unexpected, non‑standard hotel is a pleasant surprise.

The old building is beautiful and well kept, with a garden and fountain, and the hospitality is unexpected; the restaurant serves tasty fresh fish, meat, and vegetarian options, and the quiet setting among mountains and forests makes it a great spot for hiking and visiting places like Carcassonne.

The welcome was exceptional.

We got a warm greeting and were able to check in very early during the heatwave; the rooms stayed cool enough that we slept well, and the bike garage was handy. The food was sometimes exquisite, such as the pavlova dessert topped with blackcurrant sorbet, and breakfast was excellent with a good coffee machine, freshly squeezed orange juice, a freshly cooked googy egg, tasty local cheese, and more. The countryside offers plenty of interest, especially some amazing bike rides, so I hope to return. Maybe they could wash my bike (joke in poor taste – that’s never happened anywhere).

The setting is idyllic, the welcome is more than pleasant and sincere, the meals are excellent, and the atmosphere is warm; breakfast is perfect. Thank you. Nothing needs to change, it’s all very good as it is.
