“Serious Concerns Regarding Cleanliness and Hygiene”
Unfortunately, our experience at this riad was very disappointing. The room was not clean, and there was a very strong smell of mold. The sheets also did not appear to be clean, as we found hairs on them. My sister even developed an allergic skin reaction during our stay. When we raised these concerns with the front desk, we were told they would look into the situation and let us know what could be done. However, the full amount was charged immediately, and we did not receive a satisfactory response to our concerns. When we returned to the room later, it was clear that it had been cleaned and the sheets had been changed, as the smell was noticeably different. Unfortunately, this was only after we had raised the issue. Given the cleanliness concerns and the potential impact on our health, we decided to leave and move to another hotel. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and we would have appreciated better cleanliness standards and a more proactive response from the staff
