“Angenehmer Aufenthalt, würde ich wieder buchen.”

A large parking lot, a spacious room, and even as a single guest I was upgraded to a double room; early check‑in was no problem. The breakfast buffet was great and roomy. However, the window and bathroom door didn’t close properly, which was inconvenient when more people were in the room, and a functioning window would have helped during late‑night events in the building up to 3 am. The breakfast area was cramped and crowded.

“Not this time”

I’ve been to this place several times, drawn by its location, the restaurant, the staff there, and how close it is to the motorway—perfect for a pit stop on a long drive. The rooms stay clean and the beds are comfy, and breakfast offers plenty of options, so I’d suggest booking on a quiet weekday. This Friday, however, the hotel was hosting a wedding and we weren’t told beforehand. The building next door blasted loud thumping music all night, and one of the wedding guests got violent, smashing things in the adjacent room, repeatedly breaking the door, and shouting in the hallway right outside our room. The walls are paper‑thin, so the noise was unbearable and I couldn’t sleep at all. With a 700 km drive the next morning, it was completely unacceptable. I mentioned it to the receptionist in the morning, but received almost no response, which was very disappointing.
