“Never stay here again.”
I only liked the staff because they were really friendly, but the room we stayed in was very outdated, the shower’s water pressure was so low it was hard to shower, the carpet needed a deep clean, and when we went downstairs we saw staff making mistakes with food orders, so we didn’t order anything; also, the pub closed very early on a Friday.
“It was good for 1 night”
The location is great, but the bar closes at 9 pm and the bathroom needs a lot of work.
It was on the front. Paint was peeling off the walls, damp was coming through the ceiling, the bathroom was dirty, no food was served while we were there, and the bar closed early so we couldn’t have a drink after 8 pm.
“excellent on all aspects every hotel should be aiming for this standard”
We landed in room 2, a first‑floor gem with a king‑size bed and a second bed for our 2‑year‑old granddaughter. The bathroom is enormous—shower, bath, WC, all in one—and I’ve never seen a hotel room with such space. Both windows face the sea and the beach, giving fantastic views. The staff were outstanding; Hannah, in particular, went out of her way to care for our granddaughter. All in all, the roomy accommodations, ocean vistas, and friendly service set a high bar for other hotels in Weston.
“Shame that the stay was like it was as thought it would be quite good , the old colonial used to be an amazing g place t”
The bed was comfy and the bar staff were polite, and the location and free parking were convenient. However, the room was filthy: stains on the beds, crumbs and rubbish on the carpets, greasy mess in the bedside cabinets, a grimy bath with no cold water, mould in the bathroom, dusty and sticky stains on the curtains and walls. The loud, disrespectful guests stayed until early hours, adding to the discomfort.
