The location was good, and the administrator was very pleasant. It was clean, which is crucial for Venice because of the many bugs in hotels; the last time I stayed elsewhere, I developed contact dermatitis after sleeping. Here everything was tidy, the sheets and towels were fine, the air‑conditioner worked, and you could leave belongings after checkout. The administrator’s recommendations were up to date—ask him if you’re unsure, he explains everything clearly and is very open. The stairs were very steep, and it was hard to find the address because the whole area is one block; use the booking map instead of Google Maps. The room was small—if you’re thin it’s okay, otherwise you’ll have to squeeze into the shower. Noise from the corridor was noticeable, and there was no kettle, which is hard to imagine where it could be placed.
