The kitchen was moderately equipped, though one liter kettle for the whole kitchen is insufficient. The dining area is pleasant for meals and relaxation. The mattresses were too soft, even for someone without back pain. There is no proper luggage space; one can only place a bag on the floor under the sink or at the room entrance. The door opening is equipped with a sensor that emits sounds, and the sound of opening any of the 12–15 doors on the floor is clearly audible. The floor has three showers combined with a shared changing area; there are no hooks in the shower to hang clothes, which is inconvenient for many.

The bed was comfortable, exactly what I needed after a long day of sightseeing, and there were no complaints.

A lovely hostel with a spacious room; the kitchen is fully equipped and there’s an espresso machine that makes coffee and hot chocolate. It’s close to the waterfalls. The only downside is the very limited number of toilets.

The place has a perfect spot, comfy beds, and a nice room. The bathrooms could be cleaner, and it was by far the most expensive lodging on our trip – you definitely pay a lot for the location.

Check‑in was straightforward. The location is great if you want to hike near Skógafoss. The value for money isn’t good compared to other hostels, and the building is extremely noisy – turning on the tap or opening a door wakes the whole house.
