They claimed breakfast was included, but on July 4 there was no breakfast at all.

What breakfast? No one was at the front desk when I arrived, so I had to call and wait; it took three people to check me in. The hallways were full of broken items, the toilet in the bath was wobbly, and the bathroom was awful.

The balcony view was beautiful, but the pool and hot tub were closed and we didn’t know until we got there. The building was under renovation, the hallways smelled like paint, the rooms smelled of smoke even though they were labeled non‑smoking, and the whole building had a smoky odor. There was a black handprint on the white sheets, the floors could have been vacuumed better, and the balcony’s outer light was disconnected, leaving it hanging on the rail.

We spent a single night at Webbs; the room was clean, well‑equipped, and very nice. The hotel is currently being renovated, but from what we’ve seen it will look amazing once it’s finished. The only hiccup was that Webbs didn’t know we were arriving, yet we were lucky to find an available room.
