The location and breakfast were excellent, but the rooms felt very dated, the bathroom was tired and old‑fashioned, the double bed was cramped, and the bedroom window needed replacing. After asking for a main street view, we were shown a brick wall and a back alleyway instead.

The bar area was nice and the location put us in the centre of town. The downside was a nightclub over the road that made the place horrendously noisy until 3 am; even with the window shut, sleeping was impossible. The bed was very uncomfortable, but that might be a personal preference.

The room was lovely, comfortable, and clean; the location was great for an event at the cathedral, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food, but we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The location and breakfast were good. The corridors were clean but stuffy, the room was too hot, and the fan only circulated hot air. The room and bathroom were clean but need modification.
