“Lovely stay, lovely owners, lovely Breccie :)”

The modern rooms were lovely, the bathrooms were icy, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was incredible with a wide selection of dishes. The only issue was that the train line ran right next to us, so it could get loud, but it didn’t bother us at all.

“Very clean villa.”

The host and family members were kind and welcoming, the place was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice. The only problem was the access road.

I spent over a week at the Tropical Villa in Galle and would absolutely recommend it. I stayed in a separate annex with its own bathroom, a small kitchen, and a lovely terrace—everything was very clean, well‑equipped with AC, a large mosquito net, and a TV. Supun and his family were incredibly warm. Especially his mother, his wife, and his daughter took care of everything lovingly every day. Breakfast was freshly prepared daily and tailored to my taste—super delicious! Lunch was also always a great option. I could also wash my laundry there without any hassle and always felt that everything was safe and well organized. The location was also great: only about five minutes on foot to Devata Beach, the sea, and shopping. A truly wonderful experience—I would come back anytime!

“Quintessential home stay experience”

A quintessential family‑home stay just a few bus stops—or a short tuk‑tuk—away from Galle town and the Fort. We walked to the beach, enjoyed amazing local and Western food, and shopped at a supermarket. The large room in the suburbs, close to the railway and a mosque, made us feel truly in Sri Lanka. Nothing to complain about.
