The hot‑spring and sauna were truly refreshing, and the service was generous with items like night‑time soba, ice, and Yakult. The cleaning was also immaculate—thanks for that. No complaints.

The staff were helpful. I would have liked a sink instead of a basin in the room, a place to hang towels, and a foot‑mopping mat at the bath entrance.

The bath had a great vibe. I preferred the sauna to be mist‑free rather than misted.

The onsen was the main attraction, with multiple baths (inside, outside, and a tsubo bath) and plenty of extras like free ice cream and milk. It’s a nice spot to relax after the alpine route, though it’s a bit far from the station—about 15‑20 minutes on foot. The staff don’t speak much English, even basic.

The hot‑spring was good, and the sauna’s high temperature with aromatherapy made it pleasant. Night‑time soba was a bonus, and the breakfast rice with white shrimp was tasty. I was bothered by a slight odor that might have come from the air‑conditioning or the room sink, and I didn’t notice the window was open, so the outside noise was loud all night.
