How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The only decent thing in the hotel is the breakfast. The maintenance of facilities in the hotel is far below expectations. The room smelled musty as soon as I walked in. The water pressure in the bathroom, especially the shower, is very low, so it takes a long time to get a decent shower. Housekeeping is sloppy; they only clear the bins and give you new towels, but they don’t clean properly.

Nothing exceptional. The staff is friendly but the rooms are not as big as they look in the pictures; the bathroom is tiny, so don’t expect a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is complimentary and good. There is an in‑house laundrette that is quite cheap but takes a long time to wash and dry. The location is not very great if you need public transport. The facilities are average and the overall cost is pretty expensive, nothing comparable to the other Marriott properties.

I was drawn to the spot because it’s safe and right next to the main attractions, and the breakfast offered a tasty variety. The staff were genuinely friendly and the room came fully equipped. However, for a 4‑star property the cleanliness fell short; there was plenty of dust under the beds, I even spotted two silverfish bugs, and only two towel sets were provided for three people.

The hotel is small, modern, and spotless, with a bright, airy feel. Breakfast was good, and the location is charming, surrounded by quaint independent shops and restaurants, and close to The Shard. The downside is that the nearest tube station requires a 10‑15 minute walk.
