The place is gorgeous, offering sweeping views of farmlands and horses, but there were plenty of chances to interact with the horses and go on trail rides that we missed.

We stayed at a stunning working horse farm where the owners were very welcoming; the house is large, with separate family quarters and a generous common area that we mostly had to ourselves even though the house was full. The downside was its distance from Oak Harbor, making it inconvenient to get to other parts of the island, so we left in the morning and returned at night.

What an amazing place! Breakfast was fantastic, and watching the horses walk out to pasture from a private patio with a private jacuzzi felt like a dream; walking the Owner's Barn and seeing the miniature horses was an experience we’ll definitely repeat at the end of the month. I can’t think of anything negative.

Greg is very friendly and helpful, and his homemade breakfast is excellent—a welcome change from what’s usually offered in U.S. hotels. The horse farm has a beautiful setting, and you can roam the entire property and even peek into the stables. There’s nothing to complain about, and if the breakfast doesn’t suit you or you’re not full, that’s on you!
