Su and her team were incredibly warm and welcoming. The location is easy to reach by bus from Abergavenny and close to my marathon route. I stayed in a private room with fresh linen, a toilet, and a shower just outside the door. The setting is stunning, and the pub’s fireplace is lovely. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. I’d recommend it to trekkers looking for a cozy base.

The space was fantastic. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here; it’s far better than the photos suggest.
