The location was peaceful but still convenient for accessing local amenities.
The owner, D.São, is fantastic and makes sure we're always happy, even calling us to check in and chatting with us for a bit.
The space itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities.

“Recomendo!”
We liked everything! D. São was very kind, always helpful and ready to assist with any need, and she even brought us a little treat during our stay :) The house we stayed in was perfect for a week; we were a couple and brought our cat. The location was great, the environment very calm. It was ideal for a few days of rest, and we’ll definitely come back.
“Une semaine de vacances pleins de souvenirs”
The accommodations are strikingly beautiful with very large, well‑decorated rooms, comfortable beds, TVs, a fig tree in full production (early August 2026), and a stunning view in a very quiet village. We booked two units; the three‑bedroom one had two huge bathrooms but the showers were tiny and hard to get into, while the third bathroom in the living area was small but usable. The lounge‑dining‑kitchen area was decent, yet the dishwasher had to run daily—sometimes twice—and only six plates of each type were available, which was tight for six of us. Access to the pool is via a steep street, and the supposedly wheelchair‑friendly one‑bedroom unit connects to the other flat by five steps and a double door, making it cramped if you have a chair; with a crutch, it was only average. The bedroom itself is large, the bathroom well equipped with grab bars, a shower seat and a sink for a wheelchair, though there’s a step to reach the unit. The pool is split into two sections, one 75 cm deep and the other 1.60 m, with only five spots in the deeper part. I’m still hunting for reliable Wi‑Fi; my phone spent most of the time charging. Ms. Sao, who welcomed us, was very smiling and pleasant, but when it was time to water the plants we were always near the pool, and getting splashed was annoying. Behind the glass rail of the pool we had the charming company of five donkeys and two peacocks that were noisy all day, especially at night. These are just minor details to polish.
“El tercer año que repetimos”
I've been staying at this wonderful accommodation with my partner for three years now, and we always look forward to it. The place is amazing, modern, and has everything we need, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The owner, D.São, is fantastic and makes sure we're always happy, even calling us to check in and chatting with us for a bit. She's also very kind and welcoming, and we love talking to her and her family.
“A repetir”
The place was pleasant, very private, and the village was beautiful. Nothing better for relaxing and escaping the big cities. D. Conceição was always concerned about our well‑being and had enjoyable chats at the end of the day. I’ll return in the future. The photos don’t lie.
“Experiencia muy relajante”
The facilities were comfortable, the surroundings peaceful, and the host was kind, leaving us with local products to try.
