We had a very pleasant stay; the room was bright and spacious, the breakfast was very generous, there’s a bike garage with electrical outlets, the location is on the edge of town, free parking is directly at the hotel, and the staff are friendly and helpful—everything was fine.

Sehr schönes grosses Bett mit sehr guter Matratze. Schöner Blick vom Balkon auf die Weinberge. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit grosser Auswahl und Kaffeeautomaten. Eine bestückte Minibar, was heute nur noch sehr selten ist. Lage sehr schön, zum Wandern oder spazieren gehen. Ausreichend öffentliche und kostenlose Parkplätze beim Hotel vorhanden, falls die eigenen Parkplätze nicht ausreichen. Der Einstieg in die Duschkabine war schwierig, weil die Duschtüren sich nicht so breit öffnen liessen, das man bequem in die Duschkabine gehen konnte. Die Türen waren zu beiden Seiten begrenzt 1x durch das WC und 1x durch das Waschbecken. Die Duschkabine selber war schön gross. Die Heizung im Badezimmer liess sich nicht anstellen und war an den Rohren mit dickem Staub bedeckt

Sleeping was very comfortable, but we had to wait 10 minutes at check‑in while the bartender kept us waiting; I expected a 4‑star hotel to offer a seat, a drink on the house, but that didn’t happen. The room was okay, though the carpet on the floor was dusty and a used toothbrush lay in front of the bed. During the night the bar hosted a party with loud music until 1:30 am, making sleep and recovery impossible. In the morning at breakfast we were told to sit wherever we liked, yet none of the tables were set; when we returned from the buffet to place our coffee our table was still unset. We politely asked for cutlery, and after a third inquiry only then was the table set, with barely any staff present. All in all, it does not deserve a 4‑star rating. Sorry.

The spot right in the middle of the vineyards is gorgeous, the breakfast is good, the rooms are spacious, and the equipment is top‑class.
