The spot for the event was convenient and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, but there was no onsite EV charging, the lobby needed more seating, the bathroom could use a shaving mirror, better lighting, an extra towel rail, a shelf for toiletries in the shower, and the GF options were disappointing.

The hotel was lovely and the location near the university accommodation was perfect for us, but when we arrived they told us we didn’t need to book dinner at the bar, and when we went there we were told we couldn’t eat because we hadn’t booked, which made us feel very uncomfortable; after asking the kitchen we could finally order food, which was lovely, and I heard two other groups had similar experiences—sad because otherwise it was a great stay.

We liked the location and that there was a restaurant on site; breakfast was good and there were also local restaurants within walking distance, but the bed was too firm for us, so we didn’t sleep well.
