My friends and I loved our stay at Yama Lodge and would highly recommend it! We had a 10‑seater van and parked it in front of the lodge. They offer a nice ski, boot, and clothing locker area, and the lodge itself is within walking distance of the slopes, which was super convenient. We all enjoyed the yukatas they provide with the rooms, and my friends liked the onsen too. The fireplace in the common area was also great. The staff were extremely kind and super helpful, even when one of our group got injured. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll return!

The onsens were wonderful, the staff were beyond brilliant, and the taxi service around town was fantastic. Local knowledge was invaluable, and breakfast was delicious! Nothing negative.

The staff were fantastic, and the lodge was very comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. It’s a quick walk to the ski field, and in the evenings the staff provide an effective drop‑off and pick‑up service to and from all restaurants in the village.
