The location was great for a trip to Kings Canyon/Sequoia, and check‑in was easy. The room was clean and spacious, with a small kitchen area and a breakfast nook/table that was nice. The bathroom was on the smaller side and I would have liked hooks on the door to hang clothes, and we weren’t sure how to use the TV.

Not a 5-star stay because of the sheets. They are polyester and staticky instead of good, hotel-quality cotton

I appreciated the clear check-in instructions and the convenience of having a gas station just a 2-minute walk away. The pool area was nicely maintained, and I enjoyed the friendly turkeys roaming around. The beds by the pool were comfortable, and I liked that I didn't need to interact with the owner. However, the room was a bit compact, and the pool parasol could be more secure as it tended to blow over.

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay as the hotel accidentally booked me twice, leaving them with no room for me at 11 pm. Although I was initially upset, I have to admit that the staff handled the situation with a good sense of humor. Despite the chaos, they managed to accommodate me eventually.
