The spot was great, but everything was filthy. We had to wait a long time for check‑in because they were busy with the bar. Mid‑stay they moved us to a different room so they could house other guests in ours.

It’s decent for the price, the location is very, very good. I recommend it because it’s close to the center. They were under renovation, otherwise it was fine.

Everything was extremely dirty. There were hairs on the bathroom floor everywhere, mold in the shower and on the tiles, a dirty sink, the toilet smelled bad, hairs on the sheets. We didn’t know if the duvet was dirty or stained. Terrifying.

The place sits right in the city centre, but it was in a sorry state. The walls were covered in crayon doodles, probably from a child, and the ceiling paint was peeling everywhere. One of the bed frames was 10‑15 cm smaller than the mattress, which felt unsafe and terribly uncomfortable, and the mattresses themselves were just springy. The shower was held together with tape, and one of the glass panes was missing, so the whole bathroom flooded every time I showered. I've stayed in cheaper hostels before, but never have I seen such filth.

The hostel reception was closed when I arrived, with no posted opening hours, and the 24/7 phone number never answered. After calling six times, a kid answered and hung up; I called again and a person with a speech impairment took the call. He came to the entrance and ran away, then I called again and was shouted at: “I said I was coming” (which wasn’t true). I was a woman traveling alone with my dog, and after a difficult check‑in, I was repeatedly told I couldn’t have an “extra visitor.” I asked the man if he was implying I would receive paid visitors (and therefore be labeled a prostitute because there was no man with me). When he kept repeating this, I told him it was an utter lack of respect to keep saying it after I explained my situation. His reply was that I could “put the reservation in my ass” (what?!)… I left angry. Of course this booking had no refund option, so I couldn’t get my money back. Afterwards I was on the street and slept in my car. A terrible experience, a horrible host, and a disgusting hostel with a filthy old bar and disrespectful staff. F‑k.
