The hotel’s location was spot‑on, and the outdoor vibe reminded me of mild October evenings in summer. The rooms were very cozy and the staff were extremely welcoming, making my birthday extra special with a small surprise that I really appreciated. I’ll definitely come back.

Le Consulat sits in Lisbon’s historic Barrio Alto, close to great restaurants and Fado spots. The team, especially Dev and Pedro, were incredibly attentive—arranging airport transfers, dinner bookings, and local tips—making it a fantastic base for exploring the city. We arrived early from the US, as is normal, and were asked to wait in the lounge while our room was prepared; the lounge felt a bit rough and lacked comfortable seating for a long wait.

The hotel is stunning, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was roomy with excellent design details, and the location was perfect and quiet. The bedding, however, seemed not to be natural fibers, as it felt very warm.
