I liked the hotel overall; the large terrace is great for dining outside, and the dinner selection was good with many salads. Breakfast was also enjoyable, offering a wide range of cereals, seeds, yogurt, etc. The hotel has a bike storage area that’s convenient and you can charge an electric bike there. The room lacks a balcony and the view doesn’t overlook the lake. Early in the morning there was noise in the hotel that could be disturbing.

The hotel’s spot was spot‑on and the room itself was really nice, which made the stay comfortable. The only thing that left a sour note was the front desk – they could have been a bit friendlier and more attentive, and a little more chatty would have helped. Overall, the location and room win out, but the staff could use a smile.

The room was huge and the terrace plus dining area gave us plenty of space to relax, while the staff, lake view, sunshine and scenery were all fantastic. Breakfast fell short, though – there was no toaster and the perch fillets we ordered were a bit dry. Still, the positives outweigh the small kitchen slip‑ups.
