I spent a wonderful week. Soorekha was always available for advice, activity bookings and taxi. The location matched the description, a small fishing village. Across the lagoon and 10 minutes by scooter is the Morne beach and kite surfing! And accommodation is 2 minutes from an idyllic beach "la prairie beach" (see photo). I recommend!

The area is a bit gloomy at night. Paying in cash for a tourist is difficult because they are not used to handling local currency. Nevertheless, for staying one night at a low price it is fine.

The ladies were very sweet and attentive, and the place looks lovely, but outside of season everything is shut down—no restaurants open, no activities. The shower’s hot water had very low pressure, and the breakfast was basic and extra paid, which felt pricey for what it was.

The owners were fantastic! Every request was handled immediately and they offered great tips. The hospitality was excellent and I felt very comfortable.
