The hotel is in a good location. The architecture of the hotel is interesting. Unfortunately the hotel is old, we got a room where the wallpaper was peeling, water didn’t leak, and the worst was that the doors could be opened without a card. This will probably happen with other doors too. The employee who showed us to the room knew there was a problem with the doors but didn’t address it. The final blow was the overpriced breakfast where an extra juice costs 200 liras, and breakfast costs 800 liras.

A stunning place, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean!

The best part was the location, and the staff were friendly. The room felt outdated and a bit dusty. The floor creaked a lot. At times the water was only lukewarm, told it was due to the weather, it eventually returned after an hour so that was no problem. Breakfast was just a standard spread, nothing particularly special. The main issue for me were mosquitoes in the room which made the stay less comfortable. Another downside is that the hotel doesn’t provide an iron for guests to use. If you need your clothes ironed, they try to charge you 100 Turkish lira per item, which I find ridiculous, especially when it’s such a basic service to expect. Personally, I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless location is your main priority.

The courtyard in the old town is pretty and the location is decent, but the bus station is about a half‑hour away by subway. The staff aren’t very enthusiastic; they sit on the sofa while handling luggage and move slowly. Privacy in the room is poor: the curtains are two layers—one sheer and one heavy that is narrower than the window, so you can’t block both ends, which feels unsafe. The duvet is thinner than a bath towel; after calling three times for an extra blanket, nobody delivered it until I went out myself around 10 p.m. to find one.
