I booked the apartment five months in advance and even received a confirmation, so I assumed everything was sorted. A few days before I was due to arrive, I phoned to confirm the check‑in details and was told there was no reservation under my name, and they could only offer a new booking at twice the original price. Thankfully I called early; otherwise I would have been stuck in a foreign city with nowhere to stay. Be very cautious when dealing with this property.
