“Don't leave your bags in the hotel.”

I only stayed for one day on a quick business trip. I arrived in the morning, left my bag in the room in the afternoon, went out for dinner, and returned about two hours later. I checked out and headed to the airport the next morning, only to discover that all my cash had been stolen on the way. I couldn’t return to the hotel in time. Roughly 1000 rand and 60 USD went missing, making this a nightmare experience for life.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel; everything went smoothly. The cleanliness was impeccable, with housekeeping coming daily to change sheets, towels, and vacuum. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always took the time to greet us and ask how we were doing, which was very pleasant. The location was decent, though not the best spot in the hotel. There was a pool, which was great for relaxing. The restaurant was excellent and the meals were generally good, though I personally would avoid the hamburgers 😅. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay—clean hotel, lovely staff, and high-quality services. I highly recommend it. The only real downside was a missing amount of money left in my room. I didn’t find it when I left. I can’t say it was stolen, but it was disappointing that it happened, and it’s worth mentioning.

The hotel is very fun and shares space, gardens, and a pool with the higher‑category Novotel. The best part is the pool area garden and the sea views. The staff are very friendly. Towels should be renewed, and more bath products like body cream, gel, or shampoo should be offered. The room had a slight damp smell.
