The hotel is gorgeous, set in a beautiful natural setting on the edge of a village, in a quiet environment. Lucas, the owner, cares about guests’ wellbeing and gives excellent advice for visiting places like the Zhangjiajie park or Tiananmen, and the hotel cuisine is delicious. Lucas can arrange shuttles to and from Zhangjiajie and will drive you to the park entrance. Everything was perfect—THANK YOU LUCAS.

The stay at the National Forest Park Mini Inn—also called Whispering Hotel—was absolutely fantastic. Eason and Lucas ran the reception and did a great job! Normally we Google and research ourselves when traveling, but for the crowds, weather, and visiting the Avatar Mountains and Tianmen Mountain we were lucky to have them organize our entire stay and all activities. They guided us so we avoided crowds and lines, giving us three full days of enjoyment. As vegetarians/vegans they provided good food for breakfast and dinner, making our long days in the national park even better. All drives to the entrance (the west entrance, where the hotel is, is best for fewer crowds) and to the Zhangjiajie West train station were perfectly organized. This recommendation came from friends, and we highly recommend staying and planning here. Thank you guys.

The hotel's real selling point is the amazing staff - their attention to detail and service is top-notch. Plus, it's right by the west entrance of the park, which is perfect. Only downside is I wish I could've stayed longer!

This hotel is super convenient if you're looking to explore the national park - it's right next to one of the entrance gates. The staff are really friendly and the food is great. That being said, it's a bit of a trek to get to the center of Zhangjiajie, which limited our options for activities outside of visiting the park.

We loved the location of this hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the west entrance of the park. The beds are really comfy and the staff are amazing - they helped us plan our whole trip and even assisted us with booking another excursion after we checked out. We didn't have any issues at all, everything was great.
