The price‑to‑quality ratio is excellent, and the Sanità neighbourhood still feels residential rather than purely touristy, unlike other areas. The owner was incredibly kind. I didn’t realize the bathroom was accessed from the entrance, separate from the room, but it was still private and workable; you’d be the only guest using that bathroom.

The owner is genuinely friendly and helpful whenever you need anything. The location is great, close to the train and metro station, and the area is lively with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

The location was convenient. The room entrance and bathroom faced the owner’s front door, offering little privacy. For the first two nights the shower was cold; after speaking to the owner he showed me how to adjust the shower knob to get enough pressure to start the boiler. The duvet cover on the double bed had stains.

The spot was close to the metro. The bathroom was outside the room, in the entry corridor that also serves as the owners’ entrance, and the door had a small gap that made the bedroom feel very exposed. The duvet cover was stained, the shower was cold the first and second nights, but fortunately September was still warm enough. There were many stairs to climb and the road was awkward and not very accessible for cars and taxis.

Clean, good location, pleasant host, good value for money. The only issue was that the shower didn’t always work and the water was cold.
