The rooms were nice, the location was good, and the garden inside the hotel was beautiful; the whole place felt cool, and the free movie and museum tickets were a great perk, but the breakfast was mediocre.

A great spot, well‑located, clean and comfy rooms, and the staff were professional, but the breakfast didn’t match the hotel’s standard, and the rooms on the street side were noisy because there’s a bar right across the street.

Staying in the former Franciscan monastery felt truly special; the grounds are beautifully designed and maintained, the rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, the ladies at reception and the housekeeping staff are very friendly, and the central location makes it easy to walk to all the sights, with plenty of guarded parking in the back courtyard. The rooms (I tried a few) had a noticeable odor, mainly from the air conditioning, probably because the filters hadn’t been changed; bring everything you want to keep smell‑free in a suitcase. Breakfast was a surprise—Gallo Pinto! It was delicious.
