The Pondok Ganda is stunning and sits in a prime spot right on the lake, just a stone's throw from all the main attractions. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. I highly recommend it.

The host Mikhael is friendly and helps wherever he can. The building is nice and has an interesting history. It’s close to the Marianna Resort next to it, where you can dine or use the pool (but you have to ask and pay the resort). The AC would be highly welcomed.

It’s an old family house that still breathes the atmosphere of the past. Very nice, spacious, hygienic, and homely. The only thing I can think of is that it’s a pity there’s no on‑site dining, but on the other side of the street there are restaurants and a supermarket, so it’s not a big loss.
