Colony Cove Beach Resort

We had a great time at Colony Cove, thanks to the spacious two-bedroom unit we stayed in. The kitchen was a bit outdated, but it got the job done. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. The pool area was nice, with a small but clean pool, washrooms, and some shaded areas to relax in. However, the beach situation was a bit of a letdown - it's rocky and not really suitable for swimming. Luckily, the adjacent property had a nice beach that we ended up using instead.

“Good apartment style accommodation”

The hotel's best feature is its proximity to the beach, which is just a short walk away. The pool area is also a highlight, with a lovely spot to relax and unwind. My room had a balcony with a great view of the water, which was a nice bonus. However, there were a few issues that detracted from my stay - it was tricky to arrange a taxi to get into town, and the hall bathroom shower had no hot water. To make matters worse, there was a lot of hair all over the floor, which was a bit off-putting.

The location of this hotel is seriously unbeatable – you can practically roll out of bed and onto the beach. The apartment itself was massive, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. We loved the pool area, too, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. One thing that did catch us off guard, though, was the lack of silverware in the kitchen – we had to ask for extra forks and knives a few times, which was a bit annoying.

“Would Recommend”

The place had its ups and downs, but the real highlight was the balcony – the view of the ocean was seriously breathtaking. We were just a two-minute walk from the beach, which was a bonus, and the chairs were always available, so we could just chill. On the downside, some of the furniture was a bit worn out, but the kitchen made up for it – it was super well-stocked with everything we needed. Overall, it was a decent spot, especially considering the price.

We had a decent stay at this hotel, but there were a few things that didn't quite live up to our expectations. The real gem was the on-site restaurant that we stumbled upon thanks to our friendly maid - she told us about it when she was cleaning our room. Unfortunately, we didn't hear about it from the front desk, which was a bit of a letdown.
