The staff were very friendly and the common area was nice, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. When I arrived the shared toilets were dirty and stayed unclean for several days. In my room there were a live cockroach and a dead one; a cockroach can sneak in, but having a dead one still under the bed after the room was supposedly cleaned is unacceptable. The bedding was dirty in spots, the bed frames were visibly grimy and crusted, and there were spider webs hanging in the room. Overall, the hostel is fairly well laid out and has potential, but the cleanliness needs a serious upgrade.

The rooms were spacious, clean, the pool was beautiful, and the staff were very attentive, offering priceless tips for enjoying the city. The only downside was having to leave.
