The hotel is exceptional and beautiful, totally different from the usual resort vibe. The amenities fit an older, no‑nonsense client who loves thoughtful charm and sophistication. The gardens are lush, the rooms are perfectly equipped, the scenery is perfect, and the restaurants are exquisite. You get a European feel that you don’t find in the States. The management is very personable and present, and the staff go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying yourself. Huge shout‑out to Carlos, the bartender by the beach, and the restaurants are fabulous. I can’t say enough good things about it and I can’t wait to return.

I liked the breakfast, the proximity to the train station and the view, but the beach was rocky and there was a strip of sand between the beach and the hotel that felt like a star‑filled path.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem - a collection of charming houses perched on a hillside, offering serene surroundings and breathtaking sea views. The warm hospitality from Andrea and Rupert made me feel right at home, and I adored the cozy touches in my room, including the luxurious heated toilet seat - a first for me! However, I must admit that the early morning cockerel wake-up call at 6am was a bit jarring, but I soon grew fond of my feathered friend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this quaint, historic hotel, which boasts a charming atmosphere and friendly staff. The only downside was its location, about 30 minutes from the ferry, but overall, I was pleased with my experience. The hotel's small size added to its charm, making it feel cozy and intimate.
