“Très bien situé et accueillant”
I stayed at a youth hostel that was spot‑on for location, close to the sea and the train station, and the staff were friendly. There was no nighttime noise, and the on‑site meals in the lunch and dinner hours smelled wonderfully. Parking was available on the premises. However, during my 4‑day stay the shutters were broken and never fixed, and the only fan provided had no protective grille, which was a bit uncomfortable. The hostel’s eco‑philosophy of reusing stuff does affect comfort a little. The shared bathroom, a standard hostel feature, had its usual drawbacks.
