“Beautiful property but probably wouldn’t stay here again. Overpriced”
The hotel itself was beautiful and well kept, with a castle‑like look that gave it a unique and charming feel; I was disappointed by the lack of communication from the front desk about extra charges—at check‑in we were told parking was free, but the next day a different staff member contradicted that, though they ultimately honored the original promise; the same confusion happened with breakfast, where we only learned after we’d already eaten that a $26 fee applied, which was a let‑down for a mediocre meal comparable to many complimentary breakfasts.
