The Keurig was located in the city centre, but the little staircase down was a bit slippery and the shower curtain didn’t keep the water from leaking onto the floor; a glass sliding wall would have helped.

The bed was comfortable and the spot was nice, plus the breakfast/lunch stand right below had great food and friendly staff! Unfortunately we couldn’t turn on the air‑conditioning, but it was only for one night.

The apartment above a lovely coffee shop in the heart of Haarlem was super fun, but across from it is a bus stop where buses run all night; the electric buses are barely audible, yet you can almost hear the people waiting for the bus.

The spot was close to the train station and just a short walk from a grocery store and several restaurants, and they even slipped a complimentary bottle of wine into our room, which was a nice touch. The place got a bit noisy until about 2 AM, but the host supplied earplugs for us to use.
