The welcome was very warm, and the quiet corner gave a real change of scenery; the cabin mixes rustic charm with comfort and has some lovely surprises. The lack of windows was a downside, but the outdoor lounge made up for it with sunshine.

It has no windows, no toilet paper, and the compost toilet is poorly maintained.

The place is original. The toilets are far from the cabin and there is no shower.

The cabin idea is nice – that’s the only positive. Beware: there’s no running water (not even potable), no shower, no fridge. A blanket full of grass and small branches was slipped under the duvet, in moderately clean sheets. In the morning the smell of dampness and even cat urine was strong. The simplicity is nice, but at that price, without telling guests what to expect, it feels like a scam.
