“Hôtel fonctionnel, bien situé”
Cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable beds, but the bathroom was a bit small, giving an 8 out of 10.
“Terrible. Avoid this dump at all costs”
The location is fine, but there was no reception open on Sunday and we only got German instructions by email on how to reach our room; the key box and entrance were confusing without clear directions, the in‑room safe was locked at check‑in, there was no water, no tea or coffee, the bathroom plumbing made odd noises, no air conditioning, and a window opened onto a busy street with lorry traffic from 5:00 AM; no staff were present overnight, making requests impossible and unsafe; the morning receptionist was indifferent, refused to listen to complaints, gave no contact for further help, told us to complain to an unspecified place, denied passing concerns to management, denied any courtesy discount, and was rude beyond belief—this place has no right to accept guests and is completely incompetent.
The presence of one staff member was overly intrusive and quite annoying.
Parking available, but for two people the bathroom was very small, so a 6 out of 10.
“Prima Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Menschen, leider an lauter Straße”
The place was very clean and the staff were competent and friendly; a short, pleasant walk took you to the old town with many restaurants, and breakfast was abundant and good for an unbeatable €8.50. There’s a fast charger for e‑cars at the Aral just 500 m away. The only drawback was the street noise, which could be heard even with the windows closed, and I wish I had asked for a room at the back.
