I absolutely recommend it, the location is perfect for hiking, cycling, etc.; the breakfast is superb! The room is small but has everything you need, and the bathroom is great with a small bathtub. Personally, I would rather stay in a small, heart‑felt place like this than in a luxury bunker without soul.

The structure is perfect in every respect, but the Wi‑Fi could be improved and there were communication difficulties in English. Everything else was flawless.

“Schönes komfortables kleines Hotel, sehr freundliche Gastgeberin”

The hotel is located in the quiet town of Mauth, a good starting point for hikes and excursions. The small hotel is very quiet. We stayed in the Almberg Suite. The furnishings are very nice and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Highlights include the free parking, the small kitchenette, the coffee pod machine, and the lovely balcony overlooking the Bavarian Forest. Breakfast was lovingly prepared with everything a good breakfast needs. The host was very friendly and attentive. There was nothing to criticize about the hotel. Everything was perfect. The location itself is very quiet, with only one inn within walking distance. That didn’t bother us.
