21 m² · 2 full beds
The flat couldn’t accommodate two double beds; there was no space for luggage. When the hanging table was open, it blocked the passage.
“Good luck”
The location was convenient with easy subway access. However, we faced several major problems at Fukuda House Shinjuku: 1) The house smelled like mold from old pipes throughout the room, bathroom, and closet, and even fresh air couldn’t remove it; 2) The A/C leaked, and water dripped onto the bed below it; 3) The room was smaller than advertised, with no space for a 20” luggage bag, and the wall table was open, making it impossible to pass through—only suitable for one or two people; 4) The small washer had mold in the filter, ruining our clothes because there was no dryer and the old water stayed inside.
“Smelt horrible, asked staff to accommodate and they were upset. Horrible staff, horrible smell. Smelt like a sewer. They”
The room had a horrible smell, and when I asked the staff to help, they were annoyed. The staff were awful, the odor was like a sewer, and they expected me to tolerate it. Spending that much money is unacceptable. Don’t book unless you’re fine with a daily sewer scent.
