“Leider nicht das, was man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet”

The fluffy towels, Rituals products, twice‑daily housekeeping, breakfast buffet and service, spa area with infusions, farewell package and window cleaning were all great, and the free day passes for the cable cars were awesome. At check‑in we were asked if we were siblings. The carpet cleaning was very sporadic, silverfish appeared, drinks were not delivered on several days and even when asked they still didn’t arrive; sometimes we had to wait a long time to get the bill from service. After waiting two hours we were curtly told it had already been paid, but we didn’t know by whom. The dinner buffet had very little variety; the vegetarian and vegan option looked unappealing. Overall we were disappointed with the quality of the dinner and the service, and we didn’t feel comfortable. We also missed cozy corners in the hotel; the décor felt unmodern in most areas. Photos of the food and nice spots were not covered by the half‑board, but only available through extra charges such as in the sushi restaurant or the golf club. Unfortunately no one could recommend activities or hiking routes, which we normally do.

“Mooi en gezellig hotel, buffet met zeer grote keuze, vriendelijk personeel echt een aanrader!”

We had a nice room with a video, a large, beautiful bathroom, a restaurant with a buffet and a very wide selection of dishes, very friendly and helpful service, a large garage under the hotel, and a lovely wellness area. Nothing.
