“Two Nights Was Enough”
We arrived early and were offered early check‑in, which we appreciated, and we booked the room with the extra‑large balcony. There were no tables or chairs on any of the balconies, so the balcony’s size was pointless until the staff found us a small table and chairs, for which we were grateful. However, the positives ended there; the place was all grey—walls, furniture, bedding, towels, bathrooms—all in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom ceiling had been painted, but the paint was over mould; I’ve seen worse paint jobs, but where there had been painting, it was just a joke. The mattresses on the landings made the place look terrible. We stayed only two nights; if we had stayed longer we would have left.
