“I would stay there again, but I would let them know what I reserved and paid for,”

It was convenient for where we needed to go, but we heard a motor running all night that never stopped, keeping us awake. Bright flashing lights in the room also disrupted sleep. I booked a king‑size room, yet received a room with two queens, and the couples who booked after me got the king‑size beds.

“Too hot, no resolution attempt”

The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the staff friendly, but it was SOOO HOT and we couldn’t sleep. We would have stayed again on our way back if it weren’t so hot. They explained that the AC type varies from room to room and said they could assign a cooler room next time. Nothing was offered to compensate for the rest we couldn’t get due to the AC problems. I usually look for a Best Western, but may not in the future.

I raised an issue about kids not being supervised in the pool; they were roughhousing, throwing toys—including my own—at each other and splashing water everywhere. They even jumped in the pool and landed on top of my 5‑year‑old, bringing her to tears. The front desk staff spoke to one of the children but took no action, so we had to leave the pool because it wasn’t safe. Later the same kids ran around the hotel, up and down the staircases, and I almost got run over when I was coming out of the elevator after grabbing our food. We stayed here last year and loved it, but after this year we’ll never return.
