“Disappointing”
The room had no window, the Wi‑Fi was terrible, there were no toiletries, and it was very noisy right by the roadside.

The room’s location and layout were good, but we found a crawling worm on the shower walls and a live cockroach among the extra pillows. When we asked for a partial refund because we had to disinfect the room and frequently touched surfaces, the staff replied that 1) cockroaches are common in La Maddalena, 2) we had left hair in the shower, so we couldn’t claim cleaning (we had placed the hair in a corner to avoid clogging the drain since the shower couldn’t be sanitized like the rest), and 3) if we had mentioned it during our stay, they would have definitely sent a quick response (as if a quick response could handle an insect or if they could have moved us to a three‑room guest house that was fully occupied). I also note that my girlfriend didn’t use the towels because a bidet towel had blood stains. It’s a shame to leave a review like this for a room that has a central location and nice furnishings.

The location of the accommodation is good, but the soundproofing and cleanliness were lacking.

Very clean and tastefully decorated, the bathroom is modern and spotless, and communication with the landlord was excellent; the beds are a bit soft, and because it’s on the street, traffic noise can be noticeable, plus finding a parking spot takes a bit of patience.

A short walk into town, the space is large enough; however, it’s absolutely loud with the main road right in front of the door, so you can’t ventilate without inhaling motorcycle exhaust, and you can’t let light in without pedestrians seeing you lying on the bed.
